Hi, I’m Megan!

My passion for Scandinavia and the Nordics began as a kid in Virginia, where I would sit in the back of the library admiring guidebooks about Iceland and the far north. Fast forward years later, and I found myself living in Norway and traveling extensively throughout the region.

My travel guides, photos, and work have been featured in the BBC, New York Times, Lonely Planet, NatGeo, and beyond. I have been travel writing and blogging for 15+ years and am currently based in Finnish Lapland.
